We are currently hiring a Customer Support Administrator for one of our client a leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of loading dock systems and material handling equipment.
Location: Mississauga Dixie and Courtney Park
Shift: Days Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:00 PM
Pay Rate:$24.00 - $26.00/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Technical Operations Manager, the Customer Support Administrator is responsible for the daily flow of the Customer Support service queue, and assisting with the warranty and return program as needed. The role manages all incoming customer inquiries over phone, email, or web-based contact points.
This is a customer-facing role and acts as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries and concerns presented to the Customer Support Department. Working closely with department management, the role is pivotal in the evolution of the customer experience. A successful representative meets / exceeds established service standards and understands customer needs through all aspects of this role. This role will take pride and ownership of customer/dealer interactions and maintain a positive and collaborative approach to interactions.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide assistance and customer support for internal and external. Respond to and handle support inquiries received via phone, support queue or email from field service technicians, service agencies, dealer groups, and customers as it relates to field service or warranty concerns. Determine best suited to assist customers, Engineering, Customer Support, Technical or Sales etc. Respond to routine correspondence requests for service or return assistance from technicians, agencies, dealer administrators and shipping companies. Oversee the first touch of all interactions in the department. CLIENT FACING FUNCTIONS:
Customer/dealers first point, distributes inquiries to the proper team, person, department. Call/case triage of inquiries into the Customer Support Department. Secondary duties may include invoicing, credit note generation, return RMA paperwork, and ensuring the customer understanding of the warranty process. Complete Salesforce queue management, and other customer support duties as required. Create and apply detailed organization systems and strict record keeping Track items for shipping, and coordinate returns with dealer network. Establish Escalate out of policy/nonwarranty requests as needed with management Administrative duties to include ad hoc reporting, presentation of data, and accurate record keeping. REQUIRED STRENGTHS:
Minimum of 2 years recent and proven experience within a busy commercial customer service environment. Background in Business or Administration and Customer Service.
College or University level Business Administration will be considered an asset. Ability to think and react on the fly to unplanned or unexpected situations. Aptitude to maintain composure and decorum with challenging customers or situations. Unparalleled time management and critical thinking skills Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook and with ERP based systems. Ability to communicate well and with tact verbally and in writing. Strong customer service skills required Understanding of cloud based service systems. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office setting, heavy phone and computer use. Occasional warehouse environment exposure Possible lifting of no greater than 25 lbs. This is an IN-OFFICE position.
