Title of position: 1 Car Mechanic

Terms of employment: Full-time year-round work



Duties:

• Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.

• Identify mechanical problems by using computerized diagnostic equipment.

• Perform regular services such as oil change and lubrication, replacing filters, and checking fluid levels.

• Perform scheduled maintenance following the vehicle’s make and model guidelines.

• Test vehicle systems to ensure proper and safe operation.

• Perform vehicle care and maintenance, including topping fluid levels, cleaning windows, checking tire pressure, etc.

• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.

• Performs other related duties as required.



Wages: $33.65/hr based on 40 hrs a week

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is preferred

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of several years of experience and industry courses is required.
