Wayfair LLC seeks Software Engineer III (Multiple Positions) in Mountain View, CA:

Job Duties: Design, develop and maintain highly scalable eCommerce systems. Perform design and full stack development to create reusable application components. Design and develop technical stack using technologies such as Python, PHP, Java, C#, JavaScript, React, Swift, Kotlin, Scala, SQL Server or related technologies. Interface with product managers and stakeholders to perform requirements gathering. Perform code development and production deployment to create applications that meet business needs. Define test plans and perform unit testing. Deploy application code into server environments. Perform peer code review. Mentor less-experienced software engineers. May supervise a team of more junior software engineers. Position is based in Mountain View, CA office; however, telecommuting may also be allowed. Salary: $226,158 - $236,158 (WFCA015JV)

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a directly related field plus six (6) years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in software engineering experience. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a directly related field plus three (3) of software engineering experience.

Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years of experience in at least five (5) of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
1. Design and development using Python, Java, PHP, HTML/CSS, C#, Scale, React, JavaScript, Typescript, Swift, Kotlin, Go, SQL, .Net or related technologies;
2. Version control using Git or SVN;
3. Creating scalable back-end or front end applications using HTML, CSS, PHP, Angular, Vue, React, React Native, Flask, FastAPI, Spring, or Dotnet Core;
4. Full-stack web programming and development to ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility using PHP, JavaScript, React, Angular, jQuery, Mustache, Kafka, Kafka Connect, Avro, Redis, Elasticsearch, Airflow, Hive, Vertica, Apache, Spark, Storm, Aerospike, SOLR, Docker, or Kubernetes;
5. Defining test plans and performing/executing unit testing for deployment;
6. SQL database development including designing queries, triggers and stored procedures, performance tuning, GraphQL, or data ETL;
7. Scripting with Python, Shell, Transact SQL, or PowerShell;
8. Utilizing Jenkins, Hudson, Control-M or Puppet to deploy application code into server environments;
9. Web or application development experience;
10. Utilizing infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Packer, or other related tool.
