OpenShift Engineer needs 5-10 years experience
OpenShift Engineer requires:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or work experience
Knowledge of company products and services.
Deep knowledge and Experience in Operating Systems, Containers, Virtualization, Storage, and related technologies.
Knowledge and Experience in creating engineering documentation packages including Engineering Design Document, Data Flow Diagram, Call Flow Diagram, Implementation Guide, Operations Guide, Maintenance Guide, Method of Procedure, Technical Bulletin, Test Plan, and Test Results.
Advanced Knowledge of related industry specifications, standards, technologies and protocols
Advanced Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
Advanced Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
Advanced Knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
Advanced Knowledge of network devices and network appliances
Advanced knowledge of computer servers and various operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)
Advanced knowledge of Containers and Orchestration systems (e.g. Docker, Rancher, OpenShift)
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Windows operating systems
Knowledge in securing Microsoft Windows operating systems
Advanced knowledge of Virtualization and Hypervisors
Advanced knowledge of productivity software, such as Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
OpenShift Engineer duties:
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Designs, implements, administers, monitors, enhances and troubleshoots systems in assigned areas.
Interprets business requirements and designs detailed architectures based on those requirements.
Mentors and guides the work of technical staff.
Researches, designs and documents complex systems and related technologies in support of the wireless engineering lab.
Produces required Technical documentation, and reviews and improves documentation and designs.
Establishes the integrity, viability, functionality and capacity of wireless lab System and Infrastructure architectures by writing and executing detailed test plans and documenting test results.
