Our client in the Warsaw, Indiana area is looking for a progressive HR Business Partner with three to five years of hands on HR experience. Growing organization with upward mobility within the HR department. They have multiple sites within a two hour drive of the corporate office so some day travel will be needed to support those two sites.


Ideal candidate will be competent in most of these area:


  • Adaptable demeanor and approach to meet demands and different situations.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey information to meet the needs of different audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Business

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Project management experience

  • Act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

  • Proactive self-starter.

  • Experience with recruiting hourly and salaries employees including preparing a recruiting plan.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the corporate recruiter for salaried positions.

  • Present offer letters, coordinate pre-employment testing, onboarding, and reporting for all new hires.

  • Set up new hires in the HRIS system, verify and maintain 1-9 documents.

  • Communicate and coordinate with the payroll department to insure all employee records are accurate.

  • Proactively promote benefit programs in collaboration with Benefits Manager and field employee questions.

  • Assist the Benefits Manager with FMLA, STD, and LOA to ensure proper documentation is completed.

  • Provides HR policy guidance to ensure compliance with local and federal employment laws.

  • Assist the Director of Talent Development on identifying training needs and supporting the performance management process.

  • Provide training to leaders with accident, incident and near miss investigations to ensure all reporting is entered and up to date.

  • Manage the OSHA and DOT tracing and reporting processes.

  • Schedule and participate in Safety Meetings at each site.

  • Lead or assist with planning of special events such as company meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
