Landscape Design/Sales Atlanta Metro Area
A growing, full-service landscape company specializing in both commercial and residential projects is seeking a driven Design Sales professional to join its team. This individual will be responsible not only for creating inspiring outdoor designs but also for overseeing the installation process alongside production teams, ensuring smooth execution from concept to completion.
Position Overview:
This individual will play a vital role in both generating new business and delivering exceptional client experiences. From initial consultation through final walkthrough, this individual will serve as the primary point of contact, guiding clients every step of the way. They will collaborate with landscape designers, production crews, and operations staff to bring outdoor spaces to life, aligning creative solutions with the clients needs and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, client referrals, and lead follow-up.
- Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess design needs and present tailored solutions.
- Create detailed design proposals and estimates in collaboration with internal teams.
- Oversee project installations, working closely with production teams to ensure design intent is executed to the highest standards.
- Maintain open communication with clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Manage timelines and budgets, proactively addressing any issues that arise during installation.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships by identifying opportunities for future projects or additional services.
- Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and innovations to offer clients the latest design solutions.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on sales performance and pipeline activity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Design, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in design sales, preferably within landscaping, construction, or outdoor living industries.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while working across teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and guide clients through the process.
- Proficiency with landscape design software or CAD-based platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with outdoor aesthetics, plant materials, and functional design principles.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
