Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to lead and manage a team of talented engineers and designers. In this role, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of challenging and complex projects, from concept to completion.

Essential Qualifications:

Professional Engineering License in a Southeastern state (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university
15+ years of relevant experience in industrial civil/structural engineering
Strong understanding of industry codes and standards
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers and designers
Oversee the design and execution of civil/structural engineering deliverables for industrial projects
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes
Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers
Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in civil/structural engineering

Skills and Attributes:

Extensive knowledge of civil/structural design principles and practices
Proficiency in using relevant design software (AutoCAD, Microstation)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organized and detail-oriented

Experience: Civil/Structural Engineering: 10 years (Required)
License/Certification: Professional Engineer License (Required)
