Software Engineer, Doordash, Inc., Seattle, WA. Develop, release, and run large-scale web applications. Develop and define the backend architecture and tech stack for a product area. Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for our backend system. Operate our backend services and architecture that support all product functionality and will be challenged to consider the big picture. Evaluate and execute on trade-offs to maximize business impact for the company. Transition our monolithic codebase to a microservice-based architecture. Technical problem troubleshooting. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering, program analytics, or related occupation.

Qualifying experience must include one (1) year experience in at least four (4) of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently):

• C, C++, or similar;
• Golang, Java, or similar;
• Gremlin Query Language;
• Docker, Kubernetes, or similar;
• Python; and
• SQL.
