We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our inpatient care team. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with adult patients in a well-established setting. 

Practice Setting

• Inpatient practice setting
• Support staff includes 1 MD and 3-4 APPs per weekday, 1 MD and 2 APPs on weekends, social workers, security, and hospital staff

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
  
  
  
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 2 weeknight call shifts per week
  
  

Cases and Procedures

• Primarily adult patients with complex mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia
  
  
  
  • Inpatient rounding and patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of experience 
• Licensed in North Carolina
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
