Senior Software Engineer. Develop, maintain and deploy custom software applications. Gather system requirements and translate them into designs, documentation, and ultimately working software that delivers business value. Develop and maintain automated tests and developing stable, flexible, scalable, and maintainable software and infrastructure. Collaborate with peers on software design, work estimation, and implementation of new features. Plan and execute work in an incremental and iterative software development process. Maintain a strategic point of view keeping customer success in mind throughout the project lifecycle. Develop stable, flexible, scalable, and maintainable software, infrastructure and product architectures. Use, develop and debug using Linux. Perform peer code reviews. Contribute ideas to continually improve the team's productivity, job enjoyment, and code quality. Assist other engineers with design problems. Identify and research new technologies and software development improvements. Capture and communicate best practices and recommending new technology solutions. Mentor other software engineer team members and supervise engineers building products. Translate prototype algorithms into production code. Adhere to safety rules and maintain personal safety and the safety of others, including maintaining a clean and safe work area. Produce records and reports information as required. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or foreign degree equivalent). Required Experience: At least 5 years of full stack development and design experience. Other Requirements: Demonstrated ability with object-oriented design and programming languages including C#, .NET, .NET Core and Javscript and Angular or React JS; Demonstrated ability with APIs (REST); Demonstrated ability with SDLC fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles and microservices; Demonstrated ability with cloud development (AWS or Azure), cloud delivery, deployment, operation, and monitoring; Demonstrated ability with Relational Databases (SQL or NoSQL); Demonstrated ability with code concepts, unit testing, integration testing; Demonstrated ability with DevOps and CI/CD integration; Demonstrated ability with Agile methodologies; Demonstrated ability with Shell/PowerShell scripting.
