Job Overview:

The Internal Consulting Hub team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join the team based in the Americas leading large-scale change initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, driving organizational change, and fostering collaboration among diverse teams. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate through ambiguity.

Within Oliver Wyman, there is a consistent stream of initiatives and change projects that exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:

Has significant strategic importance to the organization

Spans uniformly across Support functions with no clear fit of responsibility

Spans across Business Units/Regions/organizational boundaries which expands beyond the responsibilities of individuals working within a single organizational unit

Requires business-side ownership to manage change (i.e. push adoption, set-up supporting infrastructure, etc.)

Requires access to sensitive information which does not permit a temporary resource (i.e. beached consultant) to perform the task


Key Responsibilities:


Plays a lead role in the delivery of strategic initiatives across Oliver Wyman

Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to address challenges.

Collaborate with senior leadership, function heads, and key stakeholders to define project goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate regular communication and updates.

Manage change programs or projects that span across support functions and/or Business Units/Regions/organizational units (e.g. Task Tracker, BFF)

Execute initiatives requiring access to sensitive information (e.g. Partner Survey, Infrastructure Satisfaction Survey, etc.)

Support functions that operate at a global and cross-function/practice level when required (e.g. Internal Communications)

Develop recommendations to issues and challenges from tasks at hand


Experience Required:


3-5 years of Project/program management experience in complex and long-term initiatives

Track record of sound strategic decision-making and ownership of business issues

Proficiency in project management tools and software

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Solved complex problems across multiple disciplines and functions

Broad knowledge of support/operational functions within Oliver Wyman

The applicable base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $142,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
