IT Leader for Manufacturing Operations

Salary up to $140,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Southern USA where its a wonderful place to raise a family! Progressive city with history, fun music, & food festivals with a great nightlife. Great outdoor spaces, access to water for recreation. Lower cost of living!

This growing industrial manufacturer needs an experienced & talented IT leader who will focus on bringing IT and Production together! Solid company with a steady product demand! This is a highly visible position as youll work with all areas of the plant. Youll work closely with the CI leader to improve the plants technology systems, creating a solid infrastructure and improving the existing systems. These systems will include PLCs and various software programs all related to the production & equipment. Ultimately, you will monitor systems as they are improved and ensure the integrity of these systems.

As the IT Leader, your main areas of responsibility will be
Installation, maintenance, and optimization of systems
Ensuring data is accurate and can be used in a timely manner
Work with managers & supervisors to create management friendly dashboards
Support maintenance mechanics in the troubleshooting & programming of the automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs and assist in the installations & upgrades as needed.

Minimum requirements for this IT Leader position:
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or Electronic Eng with a focus on software & programming
At least 4 years working in IT with production dept. in manufacturing plant
Superior communications (written and oral), interpersonal, and team building skills with a desire to teach others so they can excel with the programs
Hardware and Software knowledge needed:
o System architecture, networking, and switch programming
o Automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, industrial communications protocols
o Working knowledge of Ignition, MES, PARCview, PI, Python, SCADA, SQL.
