AVP, Oracle Directory Services Senior Engineer, Synchrony Bank, Alpharetta, GA. Engineer and deliver solutions that enable the strategic modernization and transformation of Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) and Linux Authentication systems. Develop automation necessary to build, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle Directory Services and Linux Authentication systems. Provide solutions to drive critical governance and oversight of access for systems. Support and advance the Authentication Technology team’s strategy and roadmap for enabling the business. Ensure Oracle Directory Services and Linux authentication systems and supporting processes are well governed and adhere to policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and execute standard technical OUD documentation. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to improve and deliver on business objectives and priorities. Collaborate with various groups and individuals to troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of post-bachelor’s, progressive, related work experience.

Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:
· Leading the engineering, delivery, and support of technology solutions for medium to large enterprises;
· Supporting and administering enterprise RHEL operating system environments;
· Development and operational support of OUD technologies including platform implementation, installation, configuration, and administration;
· Development and operational support of OUD processes including application integrations, vulnerability management, workload support, regulatory compliance, and service delivery/management;
· Writing and developing applications in one or more of the following programing languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, C, and/or C++;
· Working with agile methodologies as a Tech Lead on a product team; and,
· Automating deployments using DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
