SOFTWARE DEVELOPER III

KNAPP Inc. seeks Software Developers III in Kennesaw, Georgia. Responsible for creating high-quality and functioning software solutions and module test plans within the framework of specified technologies to meet the requirements of our customers. Support and advise software solution engineering, quality assurance, commissioning, project management, service center, and technical editors. Provide support for testing during commissioning and third-level hotline support.

Requirements:
• Must have 3+ years professional software development experience in warehouse/logistics industry.
• Must include experience with intralogistics automation software engineering and process design utilizing knowledge of warehouse automation inventory strategies and technologies (storage systems, goods-to-person, PTL, A-frames, unit sorters).
• Required Skills: Understanding of processes of a Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and a Shuttle System (Storage System) and be able to assess functionality in a test environment.
• Must have Knowledge of 4 or more programming languages (including: C / C ++, Java, C #, SQL and PL / SQL, script languages).
• Occasional travel (4 weeks/year, non-contiguous) required (U.S. & int’l).
