Software Engineer III (Multiple Positions), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc., Chicago, IL. Translate Clearing Deliveries business requirements into Java software design and implementation. Enable business processes, Delivery Inventory, Delivery Assignment and Schedule for each product type, Delivery Invoice and Report generation. Provide support on Clearing House Deliveries. Monitor Level 3 support incidents, troubleshoot issues related to business logic, data discrepancies. Provide resolution under high pressure and short timeline via code fixes, data fixes to ensure CME meets business required SLA. Provide status update of ongoing projects. Support DevOps team on preparing Clearing Deliveries software versions, monitor the deployment, and perform post deployment checkout to validate proper functional software release.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience.

Must have four (4) years of experience with/in:

● DevOps Tools: Chef, Jenkins, and/or Terraform;
● Google Cloud Platform;
● Core Java Development;
● Spring framework and RESTful APIs;
● Oracle Postgres DBMS enterprise environment;
● Flyway, or similar SQL version control tool;
● CI/CD Automation Pipeline, Object Oriented Programing, UC4 workflow integration and Splunk monitoring.

Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:

● Financial risk management application and mission critical systems.
