Top-tier international law firm seeks a Remote Litigation E-filing Specialist to support the firms well-respected West Coast litigation practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and be involved in further developing and establishing a critical department that offers a supportive perspective and work/life balance. Firm seeks candidate with at least three years of California litigation procedural experience who can hit the ground running with daily activities in a Managing Attorneys Office, including the filing, service and retrieval of court documents; E-filing in federal, state, appellate courts; maintaining and updating all related databases; processing incoming court documents; checking dockets for updates; and communicating with court personnel and attorneys regarding proper filing procedures. Specialist should be proficient with court filings and general rules of court for processing pleadings, and a solid understanding of California court docketing and calendaring procedures. Experience with federal, state and local court systems, including electronic filing systems (i.e. NexGen, PACER, et al.), rules-based calendaring software (e.g. CourtAlert, CompuLaw, MA3000, et al.) and Microsoft Office proficiency needed. While this is a remote position, Specialist may have to come to the office occasionally, when necessary. Salary is up to $100k, depending on experience, qualifications and skills.
