They continue to grow and expand its products and presence in the U.S.

They have a new leadership position in their commercial lines and are looking for a Director of Underwriting to manage and grow that commercial book.

This Director will be responsible for building a book of commercial, middle market

business, for the West region, with a team of 6-8 direct reports, to manage and mentor.

Company is looking for those with a high level of technical underwriting knowledge who can analyze the commercial business, oversee the accuracy of underwriting elements and work closely with other departments to achieve the most optimum results for sales, underwriting and processes.

Qualified candidates must have:

A minimum of 8 years of commercial multi-line underwriting experience

At least 2 years of management/leadership experience

Knowledge of insurance company operations, marketing, coverage and finance

The ability to travel to states in assigned West region.

This position will be located in the companys Salt Lake City office and company will assist with relocation expenses, for those outside of Utah.
