This position is responsible for leading, managing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day production and quality standards on 2nd shift to maximize production efficiency and labor utilization, while maintaining a safe work environment and resolving conflicts.  Employees on the shift range from 50-60 during the busy season to 30-35 during the slow season.

 This position requires an Associate Degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment, plus a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is required.  A combination of experience and education equivalent to 5 years of progressively more responsible work experience in a related field will be considered.  In addition: -Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing of the product.

-Other preferred experiences include knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and machine/mechanical aptitude such as CNC.
