Position: Mid Network Engineer

EndClient: Daimler Client

Location: Ladson, SC (north of Charleston SC); work to occur both onsite and some remote

Travel: None  

Work hours: 7am - 4pm M-F 

Max Pay Rate:  C2H, up to 90k, might consider a little more for strong candidates.



Mandatory: 

•      Minimum 2-5 yrs years experience supporting/install/config/troubleshoot/administration of Cisco LAN and Wireless equipment

•       Monitoring, maintaining updating and resolving daily tickets; Perform moves, adds, and changes (IMAC). 

•       Perform all aspects of network administration

•       Troubleshoot TCP/IP incidents using Wireshark packet capture software. 

•       Assist project team completing various ongoing project tasks 

•       Able to perform documentation via Microsoft Visio, understands logical network drawings 

•       Understands OSI model and network layer 1, 2, and 3. 

•       Need to be a leader, reliable, trusted, will get the job done

•       Has ability to manage workload, some project mgmt. skills, can look at environment and figure out what needs to be done. 

•       Out of box thinker, able to solve the issues

•       Will work both in IT office and in Plant OT environment

•       Min CCNA (or CCDA or similar)

Preferred:

•       Cisco Prime, spectrum analysis, NetScout devices, Savvius Omnipeek, and/or Ekahau software. 

Additional requirements:

•       Ability to determine urgency levels based on customer needs. 

•       Able to work unsupervised while maintaining a high level of achievement – quality output. 

•       Practice time management protocols consistently. 

•       Able to communicate ideas in a clear concise manner both oral and written. 

•       Able to set due date and priorities in a sometime fluid environment that are results based. 

•       Able to work rotating schedules that could include nights and or weekends. Overtime could be possible from time to time. 

•       Able to take on call support calls on a rotating basis. 

•       Able to climb up to 25ft. while carrying 30 additional pounds in a backpack. 

•       Able to strictly follow industrial safety standards set by the customer and government organizations.
