Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer needs 5+ years experience in manufacturing industry directly supporting assembly operations

Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer requires:

• 5+ years experience in manufacturing industry directly supporting assembly


• 5+ years experience industrialization of new products


• Application on Lean and Six Sigma techniques – Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Value Stream mapping, Kaizen events, Visual Workplace, etc.)


• Examples of continuous improvement, both to existing processes and launch of new ones, positively impacting safety, quality, and overall labor efficiency metrics


• AutoCAD


• Creo (ProE) or Solidworks


• Simulation or production modeling tools (WITNESS or equivalent)


• Microsoft Visio


• SAP


• Basic understanding of PLC programming


• Basic understanding of MES / MIS systems


• Familiar with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)


• Familiar with motion controllers and actuators (IAI, Yasakawa)


• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and production spot/resistance/brazing or welding operations
