Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other clinical personnel in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Work side-by-side with other members of our clinical teams in delivering direct care to patients under the direction of our physicians.
- Provide end-to-end care to patients, including initial assessments and triage, coordinating laboratory, pathology and imaging services, following patients admitted to facility to their respective care units, and then overseeing care up to the point of discharge.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Vents, Proning, High Acuity, Titration Of Multi Drips, Prisma Experience A Plus
- Previous experience working with critical care COVID population - inpatient hospital unit is required
- While caring for patients on the HRRU, it is expected staff to wear full PPE (gown, gloves, PAPR or N95).
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on HRRU unit, unless PAPR is offered/needed.
- All other times, staff is expected to wear a mask when caring for none COVID patients and at all times while in the hospital.
- Staff will need to wear a mask upon entering the hospital.
- Once on the unit, a surgical mask will be provided to wear throughout the shift.
Required
- 13 Week RN contract: day or night shifts
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing
- Current RN licensed to the current standards
- American Heart Association - ACLS & BLS
- Demonstrated knowledge of infection control and cross contamination prevention guidelines
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience
- Previous float pool experience, preferred
