CT Technician N Richland Hills, TX

SHIFT:  Full-time Weekends Only Fri- Sun 7P-7A (36 hrs.)

 

Job Responsibilities

• Staff will operate computerized axial tomography CT equipment for the performance of patient exams.  


• Staff will coordinate the scheduling of CT Scans for maximum equipment utilization. 


• Staff will be available for emergency call-back after normal working hours.  The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence.   

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in Radiology Technology.


• Must be ARRT registered in CT - ARRT must have the CT subspecialty


• Current Texas State License is required. 

Experience:

• Minimum One year CT Scan experience in acute care setting


• Specific Requirements:


• Provide computerized assisted tomography studies to patients as ordered by physicians.


•  Follows prescribed techniques in administering all types of X-rays.


•  Administers intravenous and oral contrast materials when specified.


• Orders supplies.


•  Maintains accurate log of patient procedures.


•  Completes proper necessary paperwork for billing procedures.


•  Transports patients

Sign-on bonus available up to $5K with a 2 yr commitment

Relocation up to $3,000 - Based on mileage
