Candidate Responsibilities

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Perform CFD analyses to support new product development programs and help solve field problems

• Technical delivery, support and provide advice to other engineers and managers,

• Participate in the FMEA development and work closely with various engineers to analyze the failures from field. Supports other simulation value streams (conjugate heat transfer)

Typical Day

A typical day will start at 8:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. The Engineering Specialist may attend a couple of meetings per day, but a majority of the work will be as an individual contributor. This worker will be located in Mossville.

Education Requirements:

Masters or PHD degree with >2 years of experience performing CFD analysis

Technical Skills

Critical: 1) Expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) 2) CFD solver experience - FLUENT 3) CFD pre-processor experience - ANSA or ICEM 4) Experience of CREO or other CAD tools 5) Excellent analytical and problem solving skills *****For the right candidate StarCCM+ rather than FLUENT would be considered Delighters: - STAR CCM Experience in addition to FLUENT - Experience in engine system modeling (core engine, exhaust manifolds, coolant systems, etc.) - Skilled with excel and PowerPoint

Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members, internal customers, business leaders & process partners
