The Area Manager is responsible for building a high-quality loan portfolio while promoting the company brand. This role requires a solid understanding of the agricultural market and a network within the local area. The primary objective is to support farmers' needs and contribute to the market share growth.

Starting Salary: $130,000 - $170,000/year +20% Annual Bonus*

Fully remote position with some local travel required around central Illinois to meet with clients (expenses reimbursed)

Direct Hire with Immidiate Benifits Package (below)

Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Achieving the growth objectives of the location.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting risk management and collection activities within the portfolio.
  • Assisting with loan operations to ensure efficiency and a positive client experience.
  • Participating in loan and marketing efforts within the area/region.
  • Conducting regular visits with clients to build relationships and generate new loans.
  • Providing reports on loan operations and client interactions.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Loan Officer and other team members to develop business strategies.

Experience, Qualifications and Requirements


  • Background in agriculture with business development experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in credit and underwriting.
  • Ability to build relationships to promote loan volume and credit quality.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with loan documentation.
