Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office:
Module Lead MEAN


What can you expect?


Manage software implementation projects using MEAN Stack and in multiple geographies from stakeholder need analysis, requirement gathering and analysis, planning, Developing Build & Test strategy & coordination, documentation & reporting

Ensure aligned implementation of agreed design and architecture in solution.

Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and obtain broader buy-in across global stakeholders

Must work closely with business on functional and technical requirements. Help technical team to implement agreed requirements and resolve any technical blockers/issues they may have.

Organize and conduct project cadence and forums like Working group meetings, Daily Stand-Up.

Track project progress across the SDLC and report the project progress to the relevant stakeholders

Work with test and compliance teams to facilitate performance and security testing of applications. Co-ordinate and mitigate any technical issues during project execution till go-live.

Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed cost, quality and timeline agreements

Co-ordinate with Product and services vendors for tools, software used, in the project.

Project team which candidate will join is part of a larger team. This sub team is a new one, which should have 4-5 members having around 6 years of average experience.

Strong Node JS API development experience is something which is required from the candidate and anything which is new should be liable for training as part of training calendar and ad-hoc training on project demand.

Working experience using Agile/Scrum practices

Good understanding of micro-service architecture.

Strong exposure on REST APIs development using Node JS.

Lead and manage technical aspects of API framework development and deliveries using NodeJS.

Strong agility skills to learn and excel new technologies.

MEAN Stack development and delivery against defined measurements (Schedule, defect variance, Burndown charts etc.).

Code reviews and security compliance

Strong experience of React OR Angular, Java Spring and SQL OR MongoDB and Docker containers

Good understanding of Apigee, Swagger and Splunk.

Be the API framework SME to provide guidance and mentorship on development across development team.

Have Good communication and presentation skills

Ability to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholders

Ability to identify process improvement opportunities

Adaptability to change

Knowledge of processes & best practices within the team & industry

Ability to guide the software developers and take the team along


What you need to have:


Minimum 8 years of IT development experience

BE/ BTECH/ MCA/ M TECH

Strong knowledge of MEAN Stack, SQL Server 2012 and above

Node JS API development experience is a must.
