We are seeking an associate attorney to join our workers’ compensation defense firm. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, regardless of their background. Key Responsibilities:
• Client Representation: Represent employers, carriers, and third-party administrators from claim inception to resolution.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support successful case strategies.
• Case Management: Manage a caseload of claims, providing updates to clients and moving claims to resolution.
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with applicant attorneys, lien claimants, and co-defendants.
• Documentation: Draft and review legal documents.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate.
• Bar License.
• Previous experience in workers' compensation law is preferred, but recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
