Job Duties

Develops product requirements documents that meet customer and strategic requirements while providing clear direction to the development teams. Drives product, feature and component level requirements definition for the Cloud platform specializing in the licensing area. This includes planning and design of new features and improvements. Drives the SLA for uptime and performance, cloud adoption and enables new capabilities for all the services that are built on top of the Cloud platform. Drives core cloud platform innovations by keeping up to date with the technology trends, partnering with IaaS vendors. Owns the product process involved from conception to release for all major and minor feature drops, with emphasis on interactions with service delivery and internal product teams to develop the platform. Guides the prioritization and planning with teams through understanding overall product strategy as it applies to multiple product lines. Utilizes Jira and SAFe methodologies to plan, track and execute on planned features. Operates as an effective product manager responsible for one or multiple areas of the product, including leading and communicating progress against project goals and fielding customer or internal partner concerns. Effectively communicates and collaborates with internal partners throughout the company to determine goals and drive visibility and alignment on progress towards objectives. Works directly with engineering leadership on an ongoing basis and serve as a key partner/approver in the review and approval process inherent to software development. Proposes, initiates, and prioritizes projects within the product group to progress business goals. Assists in figuring out the best solution to provide data driven validation, and measures success of team objectives, including authoring outcome-based goals and critical metrics. Collaborates with release leads, support, sales and partners to communicate and evangelize delivered objectives and available features and fixes. Drives and owns the platform product requirements process across multiple scrum teams while working collaboratively with key partners to prioritize and validate technology, features, product direction and strategy. Drives critical initiatives, using customer feedback and data to inform tactical and strategic decisions. Drives cross-team analysis and sharing of data. Drives and influences adoption of product management standard methodologies throughout the product management and engineering teams.

Job Requirements

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or a related technical field and five (5) years of experience with licensing and compliance technologies for installed as well as subscription software products. (In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or with licensing and compliance technologies for installed as well as subscription software products). All stated experience must include: engineering tools such as Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket; Power BI; Tableau; querying SQL databases to retrieve license usage data for customers; SalesForce; and creating data driven models and analytics and inferring the direction for future work. Seven (7) years of stated experience must include product management. Stated experience must include: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS) product line and SAFe methodology for working on large projects. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
