General Description:


This role is an essential part of our team that will support a variety of functions across the business including finance, purchasing, sales, and customer service. The person in this role will have ownership of critical business functions within finance, sales, and purchasing. This is an administrative role with the opportunity to create new processes, work with new IT systems and take ownership across areas as needed. The right person with demonstrated success has the opportunity to manage a variety of different tasks and the potential to advance quickly.


Essential Responsibilities:


Administrative support for the CFO includes A/P, A/R, invoice reconciliation, inventory management, cost management and financial analyses.


Purchasing support - includes managing and tracking ingredients and packaging volume, inventory, delivery scheduling, and RFP support.


Sales support - includes order management and fulfillment of orders and ecommerce processing.


Troubleshoots problems with internal and external customers.


Communicates with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and warehouse partners.


Ensures that the receiving and inventory management processes are followed and executed in an effective and efficient manner and complies with all food safety and financial requirements.


Collect, track and input data relative to operations and financial metrics.


Prepare and update recurring and routine internal reports, collect and verify data.


Perform various routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.


Participates in special projects and initiatives and provide general support to other departments as needed.

Position Requirements:



  • College degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 3-5 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem solving and data analysis.

  • Experience in a food production environment highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications--including intermediate level MS Excel-- and other IT systems such as retailer portals, ERP systems, etc. QuickBooks knowledge and experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong detail orientation. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once with accuracy and an understanding of prioritization.

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Ability to learn quickly.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • May occasionally need to lift up to 45 lbs.

  • Ability to meet seasonal peaks, workloads, and deadlines.
