Our client develops cutting edge software and hardware equipment for monitoring preventive maintenance and related solutions. The Sales Manager will be manage his own book of business and be responsible for prospecting/pre-sales to close. The role involves sales strategy, competitive analysis, technical needs analysis, product demos, product training.
MARKET FOCUS: Utilities, Industrial, Transportation
TERRITORY: USA and Canadian market with focus on own account development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably technical discipline
- 3+ years experience selling software solutions (on-prem or SaaS)
- 3+ years sales industry sales with focus on equipment (medical equipment, heavy industry, High Voltage, Aviation, Electric vehicles, etc.)
- Ideally familiar with rotating equipment or medium/high voltage equipment
- Strong account development/prospecting skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 30-40%
