Enterprise Architect (Mobile Apps/Security)

We have an immediate need for an Enterprise Architect to join a retail company for a 6-month contract that is 100% remote. The Enterprise Architect will provide enterprise guidance and governance to ensure that custom mobile applications are built using established security guidelines and best practices.

Location: Remote, Eastern Business Hours

This job expects to pay about $80-88/hr plus benefits

What You Will Do:

• Scope of activities include interpreting business needs, assessing technology, applying technology, and providing enterprise guidance.
• Provides deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT estate
• Supports a community of practice (CoP), guiding and helping agile teams and product owners to align with the overall enterprise architecture governance and assurance
• Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring solutions architecture assurance and compliance
• Defines the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision

What Gets You The Job: 

• Minimum of five years of experience in IT solution development disciplines, including solution, application, technical or infrastructure architecture, and application development
• Strong knowledge of mobile application development
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks/standards such as OWSP, NIST, PII
• Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
• Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
