Vice President (Operational Risks & Permanent Control) for BNP Paribas Securities Corp. in Chesterbrook, PA will act as Global Markets risk and controls subject matter expert, advising on control framework and business process improvements and helping to lead, execute, and deliver non-financial risk assessments. Will assist in the design and build of technical operational risk datasets to expand and enhance risk frameworks, monitoring and reporting, and linking to strategic control initiatives. Will manage and maintain non-financial risk data and create dynamic mappings between risks, controls, and processes. Will assist in leading the development and implementation of efficient and robust control processes, tools, monitoring, and reporting. Will ensure proper non-financial risk governance and documentation is in place across Global Markets. Will support Senior Management, Global Markets stakeholders, and Risk Management teams in the identification and remediation of non-financial risks. Will develop and maintain control inventory tools to ensure both local and global alignment.

Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or related field plus five years of experience as a Vice President (Operational Risks & Controls) or related occupation working in Global Markets within an international bank or international financial services organization, in a Front Office position or a risk management role or, alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or related field and three years of experience as a Vice President (Operational Risks & Controls) or related occupation working in Global Markets within an international bank or international financial services organization, in a Front Office position or a risk management role. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) with Big Data and database construction and maintenance, including SQL and MS Access; (DE) with Global Markets asset class or operational risk assessments and reporting; (DE) with Python, including data packages (Pandas); (DE) with PowerBI (both Desktop and Online); and (DE) with Excel including Power Query and VBA.
