Our client, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Business Litigation practice group in Austin(link removed)>
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 4-6 years of substantive experience in complex business litigation and arbitration(link removed)>
- Familiarity with Texas courts and rules is essential.
- Proven experience in trial settings, including hearings, depositions, and managing cases under reasonable oversight.
- Expertise in handling cases related to partnership and shareholder disputes, trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, non-compete agreements, and commercial contracts(link removed)>
- Experience in real estate litigation, including developer disputes, broker defense, lender litigation, and partnership disputes(link removed)>
- AmLaw 200 experience or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong legal writing and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex business litigation and arbitration cases across various industries, including real estate, intellectual property, securities, and corporate disputes.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, from strategy development to trial preparation and courtroom representation.
- Collaborate with a team of seasoned attorneys in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment.
