W2 - FULLY REMOTE CONTRACT
USC/GC
The L&D Learner Experience team ensures the successful project management and delivery of learning programs/events by providing outstanding client service and teaming effectively across various functional groups to manage the end to end lifecycle of a learning project. Projects may be in-person, virtual, digital or blended.
Baseline Requirements (candidates without this knowledge/experience should not be submitted)
5 years project management (PMP certification preferred) ).
Strong demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex learning projects independently and inclusive of driving the project plan, managing all phases of the project including the design and development phases, managing stakeholders, etc.
Client services mindset and can do attitude, preferably within a professional services environment.
Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Tools
Can manage multiple assignments, large teams, and competing priorities/deadlines.
Experience creating budgets and tracking expenses against budget benchmarks.
Prior experience managing stakeholders, vendors, and onshore and offshore resources
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:
Demonstrating agile and waterfall project management skills, including creating project plans, sprint plans, driving milestones, managing to budget, communicating status and escalating risk throughout to manage the end-to-end design, development and/or curation, delivery, and measurement of various learning solutions including live/virtual conference/classroom and digital learning assets and experiences
Possessing project management skills and ability to simultaneously guide/oversee the implementation of many different programs
Applying adult learning theory, human-centered design, and instructional design to lead and/or contribute to the development of learning solutions that meet client needs
Leveraging learning technology to enable the learner experience
Managing learning management system workflow to support learner experience and compliance needs
Establishing effective networks and managing project teams including on-shore and off-shore resources to accomplish implementation, enrollment and/or reporting of agreed plan/program information, utilizing both external and internal resources across multiple functional groups
Working effectively with key business sponsors and across L&D and other BS functional teams to deliver a quality learning experience
Managing multiple priorities and pro-actively troubleshooting and problem solving on a real-time basis, escalating as appropriate
Leveraging presentation and communication skills to effectively work with clients, other stakeholders and other team members
Bringing customer service and a quality focus to the delivery of learning solutions to enhance the learner experience
Developing staff and team members, including real time feedback, to create high performing teams; Evolving continuously and improving process and technologies to drive efficiencies and provide a quality learner experience
Demonstrating experience in a professional services environment utilizing an array of digital skills to drive higher value, lower cost, and a tech-enabled learning experience;
Using design thinking including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping
Using agile project management techniques including sprint planning, backlog management and sprint review
Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experience innovating with new learning technology tools
