Job Duties:

•Participating in test planning to creating detailed and comprehensive test plans to meet quality standards according to business and functional requirements of software application being developed;
•Creating detailed-oriented, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases/scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation and test execution to ensure quality of software application and web services, and providing high quality user experience;
•Verifying that software and applications are coded according to specifications by employing technical testing and code inspection techniques conforming to industry best practices;
•Creating and executing test cases with test data and documenting results for all testing phases (functional, integration, regression, and system testing);
•Testing/analyzing Salesforce data objects and APEX classes, and integrating them with third party software to ensure defect free and quality transactions between different software;
•Conducting backend testing using queries to validate data from database;
•Recording discrepancies between code and specifications via detailed bug reports;
•Conducting test case reviews with Software Engineering teams, and performing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Unit Testing, Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, and ETL Testing;
•Participating in application releases and providing support through post-release regression testing to verify newly released features, as well as existing features are intact and operational;
•Working with Software Engineers, other QA Engineers, business and infrastructure teams to ensure that quality principles are understood and adhered to;
•Coordinating testing projects for the QA team, and using Docker, Linux, Python, MySQL, SQL, SQL Server, GitHub, Azure Cloud, ETL, HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, CosmosDB, Azure PIM, Azure data storage, and POSTMAN;
•Mentoring or training other QA Engineers;
•Defining, identifying, documenting, tracking and managing quality assurance metrics, such as defect lifecycle, defect counts, test results, test status, and requirements traceability to ensure software testing and quality coverage using Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Test Manager; and
•Performing all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

•Master’s Degree in a Computer Science or a related engineering field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related role, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related role, working in an Agile (Scrum) environment using Docker, Linux, Python, MySQL, SQL, SQL Server, GitHub, Azure Cloud, ETL, HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, CosmosDB, Azure PIM, Azure data storage, POSTMAN, iOS, Selenium WebDriver, WinSCP, and Azure Data Factory; and
•3 years of experience performing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Back-end Testing, Unit Testing, Functional Testing, Smoke Testing, and ETL Testing.
