We have been engaged in a search for an Database Applications Developer who will work with business stakeholders and technology teams to maintain and deliver new business applications and reports.  

In this role, the Database Applications Developer will:   

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise reporting, data visualization, database and software applications that perform critical business functions in a SQL, MySQL, C#, JavaScript and Python environment.
• Respond to requests from the user community and engineer solutions with the software team to meet stakeholder needs.
• Maintain existing legacy systems during a transition to an Azure cloud-based infrastructure.

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:

• Structured query languages that include one or more of the following:  SQL, T-SQL, MySQL SQL, and or Oracle PL/SQL.  (SQL, T-SQL preferred).
• Enterprise 
• High level programming languages that include one or more of the following:  C#, Python, JavaScript or equivalent.  (C# and JavaScript preferred).
• Developing in the Microsoft Ecosystem (including Azure) – (Highly desirable).
• RESTful APIs using technologies such as Python, Node, or equivalent and tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• A combination of on-prem or cloud data warehousing, data governance, reporting and / or visualization of data within a cloud-based system. (Highly desirable)
• Familiarity with OpenAPI Specifications.
• Ability to navigate and troubleshoot a Linux environment, familiarity with cron and command line software. (Highly desirable).

• Working independently and troubleshoot problems in a complex codebase.
