Manager, Innovation - Data Engineering (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Irvine, CA. Work in a team together with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to drive Innovation and Technical solutions into practice. Incorporate increased automation, machine learning, data & analytics, commercial and open-source technologies into their processes to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organizational decision making. Assist with designing and building out of data models, codification of business rules, mapping of data sources to the data models, engineering of scalable ETL pipelines, development of data quality solutions, and continuous evaluation of technologies. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise and coach professional teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $151,694/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

- Systems development life cycles such as Agile or Scrum methodologies;
- Building enterprise data pipelines and the ability to craft code in any one or more of the following languages: SQL, Python or R;
- Presenting technical and non-technical information to various audiences; and
- Transforming and analyzing large data sets and deriving insights from data using any one or more of the following data analytics tools: SQL, Tableau and/or Power BI.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or international travel up to 60% required.
