Develop and execute test plans on large, complex pre-release, upgrades and current versions of software. Develop automated test plans and tools. Evaluate compatibility of programs with existing communications hardware and software. Develop quality assurance programs that establish and enhance quality assurance standards. Write complex code and develops testing protocols and plans that have little or no precedent. Participate in developing technical / business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools. Identify the relationship of bugs to software code. Interact with internal and external peers and management to share highly complex information related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / business solutions. Mentor less experienced members of the team. May lead projects. Test and evaluate in-house and third-party software to ensure compliance with organizational standards and requirements. Create tests to ensure software meets user needs. Create and maintain project test plans. Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrate them into business processes to address the needs of the business. Document all problems and assists in their resolution.
40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm.
The experience and education requirements are:
Requires a Bachelor’s* degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a directly related field plus seven (7) years of experience in Quality Engineering. Experience must include:

Seven (7) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
 Testing and evaluating quality engineering for webMethods applications to ensure compliance with organizational standards and requirements
 Functional, regression, and automation testing with API, services and messaging.
 Experience in testing XML, Electronic Data Interchange [EDI], flat file, and JSON formats
 Conducting training and mentoring to junior quality engineers
 Experience in testing tools Parasoft SOA test, Parasoft Virtualization, or Microsoft suite of products
