Title: AWS Devops Engineer

Job Type: Long Term Contract





Responsibilities:-

• Work with System Engineers, Developers, Architects, and DevOps engineers to design and implement automated solutions with CI/CD Pipelines for infrastructure and software build, deployment, and configuration.


• Work with other technical teams to create system and workflow information visible through monitoring systems and web based dashboards.


• Develop tools and implement systems to automate server and other infrastructure provisioning.


• Maintain and improve configuration management platform keeping up with the current technologies in the space.


• Implement processes and work with systems to deploy applications to development and production environments.


• Maintain code and scripting version control repositories and related systems supporting initiatives around “infrastructure as code”.


• Be a technical resource for merge requests, assisting others in writing scripts, and answer questions about use of the infrastructure.


• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with the build, deployment, and continuous integration process.


• Document build, continuous integration and deployment processes.


• Leverage scripting languages to build automated solutions and integrations on an ad-hoc basis. Languages often include PowerShell, BASH, Perl, Ruby and Python across both Windows and Linux systems.

Qualifications:-

• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.


• Practiced in Predictive Reasoning about Complex and Distributed Systems.


• 3+ years of DevOps experience.


• Polyglot philosophy. Ability to code in various languages such as Python.


• Experience Configuring and Managing Infrastructure Components.


• Experience with Systems Analysis and Triage.


• Experience with AWS or other Cloud Services highly preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent is required.

• Previous experience with AWS Services


• Manage Integration Platform infrastructure


• Experience with Microservice infrastructure


• Experience in building system automation tools


• Monolithic application environment setup in cloud and maintaining high availability


• Must have experience in implementing ansible playbook


• Strong hands-on experience in Linux/Unix/AWS environment and scripting languages: Python


• Exposure in designing and implementing collaborated solutions on AWS and DevOps
