TITLE: New Vision Allied Health Instructor for Career and Technical Education  

 

LOCATION: SUNY Morrisville Campus in Norwich, NY  

 

REPORTS TO: Director of Career and Technical Education 

 

TERMS: Full-time 10 month 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification in Practical Nursing 7-12. To be eligible for teacher certification, candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience with classroom and teaching experience a plus. Bachelors of Science in Nursing recommended. Recent professional patient care experience and valid RN license required.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: Selected candidate will be responsible for delivery of instruction in a classroom and lab setting, as well as providing experience for students in medical field rotations. 

 

SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting salary range $43,389 plus experience and education credit; generous benefits and leave benefits based on the BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract
