Hours:




  • 1st shift needed. Hours are 6-2:30pm.

  • OT as required.

  • Might be asked to work other hrs.(later) as business conditions change



Must Meet :




  •  Must meet DOD/ITAR requirements for this position

  • PPE: Steel toe shoes, safety glasses (non-prescription provided), clean room gown (provided).

  • PLEASE NOTE: Steel toe shoes will not be reimbursed



Scope:

Responsibilities:




  • The Operations Production Expeditor works in a manufacturing facility, and as the name suggests, helps coordinate efficient flow of materials and finished goods into and out of the production process.

  • Close coordination with each production department is essential to carry out tasks that ensure efficient use of materials and movement of goods.

  • Expeditors should be in good physical condition, and they should be able to get along well with people.

  • If you enjoy a challenge or solving problems, are naturally outgoing, and enjoy social interaction, then you will get satisfaction as an expeditor.



This position includes responsibilities such as:

• Completes production logistics by moving / transacting materials and information through the production system

• Maintain strong working relationships and communications with all departments to ensure production schedule meets on time deliveries




  • Expedite as needed, notify management when product delivery date is in jeopardy

  •  Actively report product and material availability issues

  • Insure MRP exception/action reports are reviewed and acted upon daily

  • Research and resolve planning issues as needed

  • Participate in weekly planning meetings

  • Complete special projects and assignments as required

  • Monitors process and records data.

  • Prepares material with plant systems (e.g. document control, manufacturing execution system).

  •  Communicates effectively and updates/maintains records when required.

  •  Have a strong work ethic

  •  Have strong analytical capabilities

  •  Highly organized with an emphasis on detail.


This is a contract position.


  • Location: USA - NY - Fairport 

  • Duration of contract: 3 Months may be extended 

  • Education/ Experience: High School diploma required, at a minimum.
