We have an excellent opportunity for an SMT Machine Operator to join our team in our Fremont, CA location.



As an SMT Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the surface mount assembly line and will report to the Manufacturing Manager of Backplanes.



Responsibilities:

• Read and follow documentation and assembly drawings and perform operations as described


• Perform quality self-inspection of all completed work


• Download assembly and re-flow programs and set-up equipment for operation


• Operate and maintain the surface mount assembly equipment including the solder printer, pic-n-place machine and reflow oven


• Other various duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Requires minimum 1-3 years of related experience


• Experience with automated surface mount assembly equipment


• Ability to follow instructions and assemble backplanes per documentation


• Ability to recognize documentation and manufacturing discrepancies


• Knowledge of standard automated assembly practices and procedures


• Ability to communicate well with managers and co-workers


• Ability to read and/or work from mechanical drawings with detailed instructions
