Job title – Software Engineer

Job duties – Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code using Python and Ruby to automate how $2.3 trillion in mortgages and auto loans get originated each year. Propose architectural changes that are scalable and supported by the team. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and distribute knowledge. Identify and work with stakeholders to handle edge cases. Triage bugs and conduct root cause analysis on issues as they come up. Identify, assess, and integrate outside services that make us more efficient. Remote position – work from anywhere in U.S.

Education and Experience required – Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and no work experience

Background – Knowledge of Python or Ruby on Rails. Algorithm and Data Structure Knowledge. Knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) Concepts. Database Knowledge. Ability to use front-end technologies (such as Angular, ReactJS and VueJS) to develop user interfaces. Ability to utilize Heroku to deploy and manage applications with a focus on accessibility. Ability to use scikit to design, train and deploy machine learning models; and TensorFlow for tasks including classification, regression and clustering. Ability to use OpenCV to implement and optimize image processing algorithms.

Location – Remote position - work from anywhere in U.S.; HQ: Belvedere, CA

Rate of pay – $155,605 - $175,000 per year
