Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Salary: $34/hr to $39/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and will be proficient in preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, and electrical concepts. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using advanced problem-solving skills
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Understand and apply electrical concepts related to HVAC systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred
- EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including electrical and mechanical aspects
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in confined spaces, on rooftops, and in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods
