Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the overall functioning of our dental laboratory. As a Plant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring smooth operations, and optimizing efficiency. This is a full-time executive position with more than 10 years of experience required. The job is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Plant Operations Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, production processes, and quality control
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with dental laboratory operations is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and logistics
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with customer demands
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production targets
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair activities
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in plant operations
• Prepare regular reports on production performance and present findings to senior management
