Sun-IT Solutions Inc. has an opening for the position of Business Analyst (Ref# BA919HG).

Work Location: Jacksonville, FL and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and process requirements. Facilitate requirement gathering and JAD sessions with stakeholders and the company’s clients and vendors in the healthcare industry. Gather requirements to support changes to new or existing integrations and applications. Create business requirement documents, technical documents, mockup screens, and work breakdown structures and identify risks and constraints in implementing new logics or tasks. Create use case diagrams, workflow diagrams, requirement traceability matrix, and testing requirements. Translate business objectives into prioritized functional requirements and recommend feasible solutions to business problems. Review any change requests and provide test and production environment sign-off by conducting analysis. Identify system issues and work with IT team by sending the functional and system requirement documents and assisting them until the issues are resolved. Create various test cases and test strategies that account for a variety of testing methodologies including functional, exploratory, and regression testing. Create and execute SQL queries to validate reporting. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Validate the backend code to ensure the code complies with any new software release updates. Generate reports for data analysis and perform gap analysis to validate if any of the new software updates interrupt any ongoing business process. Apply strategies and approaches to identify risks with implementation, assessing their likelihood, and initiating strategies to test for those risks. Work on root cause analysis of data qualify issues. Facilitate meetings to work on any bugs identified or gaps in the development process. Generate reports and improve operations by conducting system analysis and recommend changes in policies and procedures when necessary. Identify opportunities and risks and implement configuration changes that will provide the best performance while meeting the business requirements. Use of Oracle, EDI Power Reader, Tableau, SQL Server, ANSI 837 Files, HL7, SQL, MS Visio, MS Access, MS Project, and MS Office.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Analyst or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with gathering requirements, Tableau, and SQL. 40hrs/week.
