Day Shift: 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Basic Function:
Under the direction of the Principal and the Director of Student Services, teach children with various disabling conditions.

This is a contract role for a Special Education Teacher located in Sacramento, CA. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for working with students with disabilities in a middle school setting, providing specialized instruction and support. The role involves effective communication with students, parents, and other educators to create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications
Special Education and Teaching skills
Experience working with students with disabilities in a middle school setting
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods for individual student needs
Experience with creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Knowledge of effective behavior management techniques
