MIDLEVEL TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE LABOR & EMPLOYMENT San Francisco, CA
A top AmLaw 100 national law firm is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Midlevel to Senior Associate to join their Labor & Employment practice group in San Francisco, CA.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California bar is required.
- 5-7 years of employment law experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm.
- Proven experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions.
- Expertise in handling single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, wage and hour matters, and client counseling.
- Proficiency in drafting motions to compel arbitration, discovery requests and responses, oppositions to motions for class certification, long-form settlement agreements in wage and hour class/collective actions, separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs.
- Experience in conducting labor due diligence on M&A deals is highly preferred.
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex labor and employment matters, including litigation and client counseling.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to develop creative solutions for clients to build the practice.
- Handle a variety of employment-related issues, including wage and hour disputes and class action lawsuits.
- Draft and review critical legal documents, such as motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
