PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy mobile software applications, mobile SDK, and frameworks/common libraries. Build and implement software application prototypes that meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development principles and product goals. Iterate with UX team in an Agile environment to bring software features from conception to launch. Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and project related team activities. Collaborate with other software engineers, architects, product management, quality assurance, and operations teams to develop innovative software solutions. Utilize knowledge of and experience with iOS development experience, native mobile development, multi-threaded, asynchronous code, animation, software design patterns such as MVC (Model View Controller) and MVVM (Model View View-Model) and implementing user interface designs. Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the US

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base salary: $158,722-204,600 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
