Veeva Systems Inc. seeks a Software Engineer - Mobile Dev Ops in Pleasanton, CA to build out our scalable mobile DevOps platform that will be used across multiple mobile teams. Implement DevOps best practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment that leverage AWS services. Design and build the tools, frameworks, systems, and processes engineers use to develop, integrate, deploy, scale, and manage their software. Automate tasks across the entire CI/CD lifecycle to create an efficient developer experience and reduce manual processes. Scale solutions from proofs-of-concept to complete production systems. Develop and enhance new and existing software to meet the requirements. Devise technical implementation plan and come up with delivery timeline and estimate for software product. Conduct technical research for implementing software solutions and consult with other engineers to devise solutions to software engineering problems. Follow engineering and agile best practices to ensure high quality product with few software issues and deliver with speed. Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Requires 2 years of experience in the following: DevOps, site reliability engineering, or related with a focus on tooling and automation in a mobile environment; Deep understanding of either the Android or iOS mobile platforms; Understanding of networking and troubleshooting infrastructure issues in an AWS environment; Continuous integration tools such as Gitlab Runner, DeviceFarm and/or Jenkins; and Scripting with Fastlane, Ruby, Python, and/or Bash.
Salary: $130,250 - $140,250. The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
