Job Title: Pipefitter/Boilermaker
Job Status: Full Time Temp to Perm
Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule, 5:30am 5:30pm Perth Time
Pay Rate: $48-$52 Per hour + OT +allowances as applicable
Location: Henderson, Perth, WA

Your role will involve:

Reading and interpreting drawings or taking verbal instructions to mark out, cut, weld and assemble steel;
Perform welding in accordance with approved weld procedures and codes;
Interpret welding symbols to ensure correct welding techniques;
Carry out basic maintenance of welding machine and equipment to keep a clean and safe work area; and
Follow all workshop and site safety requirements.
Demonstrate fitness for Work and possess the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
Be suitably experienced with the execution of site and workshop-based duties.
Be prepared to work mid-week and weekend overtime at short notice if required.
Possess a current WA Driver's License.

Requirements

Experience working on Marine vessels, including commercial and Naval vessels.
FCAW/GTAW/MMAW welding experience
Trade Qualified
5+ years trade experience
Physically fit & enthusiastic
Ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner
Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions
Confined Space Entry and Working Safely at Heights

Additional Skills (not mandatory):

Recognized training certification in rigging, dogging & forklift
Light Ridged Drivers license
Marine defense and commercial experience.
The ability to obtain military facility access.
Rigger/dogging recognized qualification.
Forklift Ticket.
Confined Space.
Working @ Heights.
Elevated Work Platform.
